30KW Power Take-Off Generator
WINPOWER Tractor Driven Alternators provide electrical power for a
variety of farm or remote location electrical systems and equip-ment. WINPOWER has been
providing quality standby electrical systems for worldwide use since 1925. Ruggedly
built for truly dependable emergency standby and portable power, WINPOWER has several
models to choose from - single and three phase models with self regulation which
automatically adjusts voltage to match the load.

SPECIFICATIONS
TYPE
AC, 4-pole revolving armature, statically excited and regulated. Drip proof control box.
External grounding lug.
ARMATURE
Laminated silicon steel, pressed and keyed onto steel shaft; statically and dynamically
balanced. Double impregnated with insulating varnish and twice baked.
STATOR
Laminated magnetic pole shoes, rigidly mounted in low carbon steel field frame. Machine
wound, formed and fully taped field coils saturated with insulating varnish and baked.
INSULATION
Best available. Class F as defined by NEMA MG1-1.65 Insulation varnish conforms to
MIL-I-24092B.
VOLTAGE INDICATOR
"Safe range" type, meter readable from tractor seat, assures proper monitoring
of output.
TEMPERATURE RISE
Designed for long life. Meets National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA)
MG1-22.40 definition at continuous rated load. Standby rating within MG1-22.84.
COLLECTOR RING BRUSHES
Metal graphite with constant-pressure, self adjusting springs.
EXCITATION
Statically excited and regulated using solid state electronics.
OPERATING SPEED
Generator rotates at a slow 1800RPM.
LIMITED THREE-YEAR WARRANTY
Three year warranty covers entire alternator against defects in material and workmanship
under normal use and service. After 1 year, factory repair and reconditioning service is
available at cost of labor within 3 years of purchase date. Detailed warranty certificate
enclosed with each alternator; sample copy available upon request.
Accessories (order separately)
* 1-3/8" six spline pto shaft is fully guarded for safety.
* Two-wheel transport offers heavy gauge hitch that can handle the rigors of
generator operation. Heavy 10 gauge deck allows room for
accessories or tool box.
