Generator-Ready Load Centers

Generator-Ready panels are a combination main breaker load center and manual transfer switch in one. This product is ideally installed at the time of construction, but is appropriate for service uprades as well. It allows you to feed generator power during an outage to the main load center in a house or small commercial building and manually select which circuits you want to run -- up to the maximum continuous wattage of the generator. Because this product makes any standard load center "generator-ready", it eliminates the need for a separate transfer switch - saving $hundreds$ later down the road. Each unit includes a Generator and Utility breaker mechanically interlocked to prevent dangerous backfeeding, thereby avoiding property damage and serious injury to utility workers. All models must be connected to a power inlet box (sold separately) or hardwired to the generator. Indoor models can be flush or surface mounted, and outdoor models should be surface mounted. Each model accommodates up to 38 circuits. All GTL panels are service entrance rated, and are UL Listed UL 67. 24 month warranty. Patented interlock remains intact when cover is removed.

Provided with preinstalled 200 amp main utility breaker and generator breaker for generators up to 30,000 watts.  Use with raintight power inlet box and generator watt meters purchased separately.  UL Listed.  Made in USA
