Short Run-time UPS Systems

These uninterruptable power supply (UPS) systems are perfect when you need automatic
backup power during an outage for a short period of time.  These are generally used with
computer equipment to allow time to save data files before shutting down the computer.
All the models below include or have optional modem/fax phone line surge protection
(except 850VA units) and most have a battery replacement door for user installation
of new battery at end of life (up to 6 years).

NOTES:
1) Off-line systems provide line power and switch to the battery-inverter when the line voltage falls out of spec.  On-line UPS systems provide inverter output to the load continuously.
2) Serial ports indicate the number of separate servers that can be managed.
3) Line interactive AVR indicates model has automatic voltage regulation which corrects abnormal incoming line voltages rather than draining battery.  Output only is derived from the battery if line voltage is so far out of spec that it cannot be corrected by the AVR.

Extended Run-time UPS Systems

These uninterruptable power supply (UPS) systems are perfect when you need automatic
unattended backup power during an outage.  The APS series works well where the electrical
loads are small.  Examples include phone answering machines, FAX machines, emergency lighting,
security systems, alarm clocks and even sump pumps and computers.  For a detailed comparison of

listed are primarily designed for critical computer, telecommunication or lab equipment.
For automatic backup power where the loads are more than several kW you should consider
the use of an automatic standby generator listed elsewhere in this catalog.  Click here for

Hospital Grade UPS Systems

These uninterruptable power supply (UPS) systems are designed for hospital and dental environments.  They meet UL 544 and will satisfy requirements for hospital-grade plugs and receptacles.
