PolyPhaser lightning protectors are the product of choice in the
telecommunications industry and are perfect for PV systems.
Solar panels can capture large amounts of nearby lightning strike
energy because of their large area. These protectors prevent energy from entering
the building that houses the control equipment and damaging regulators and inverters.
They are designed to protect PWM switching and relay type charge controls.
They can handle the high voltage of open circuit arrays and will not cause power robbing
voltage drop. Can be used for array currents of up to 50 amps.
