Pressure Gauge
It is a good idea to install a pressure gauge at the turbine,
before the shutoff valve, so that the gauge reads if the valve is on or off. This
will allow you to read static pressure with the valve off and dynamic pressure with the
valve on. It will be a great help in troubleshooting. Remember, there are
0.433 psi per foot of head. Order a pressure gauge that is high enough to read full
pressure in your pipeline. Dial size 2 inches. Fits 1/4 inch NPT pipe thread.
