Ultra Compact PowerVerters are simple to connect and integrate a host of
sophisticated features to ensure that connected electronic equipment receives a constant,
safe AC current. The frequency- controlled, computer-grade power they provide is less
likely to damage sensitive electronics than the unpredictable output of a generator,
making them ideal for use with mobile uplinks and other computer equipment in a vehicle.
Portable and Permanent Mount Models
Designed with the needs of the mobile executive in mind, the smallest
PowerVerter models (PV 140 and 300) fit easily in a briefcase with a laptop computer. They
feature cigarette lighter input plugs for simple connection and disconnection to a
vehicle's dashboard. The midrange PV 500 can be stored under a seat or in a glove
compartment when not in use, and features quick-connect battery clips. The most powerful
PowerVerter Ultra Compact models (PV 1000HF and PV 1800HF) have permanent mounting
brackets and hardwired battery connections, making them ideal for use with house battery
