RT’s innovative slim-line design occupies just 1U of rackmount space. Included
brackets conveniently mount it on a wall or under a counter. Without brackets, it is
a sleek under-monitor UPS that saves valuable desktop or counter space. In
addition, battery access, controls and LEDs are all located on the front panel for easy
access.
Efficient Operation
Efficient pulse-width-modulated output provides cooler operation inside rackmount
enclosures, longer battery runtimes and extends battery life. This prevents
equipment failure due to over-heating and provides more consistent output power. The
SmartPro 450 RT also features convenient front panel hot swap battery replacement to
ensure connected internetworking, PC or telecom equipment always stays up and running.

Developed to support critical network loads, the SmartPro 450 RT UPS System features an
intelligent microprocessor that controls all UPS functions. Using an advanced
instruction set, this smart chip constantly monitors incoming power and environmental
conditions and responds by supplying the most reliable power protection for your critical

Automatic Voltage Regulation
The SmartPro 450 RT UPS system features AVR capability to keep your network equipment
working though low voltage (brownouts) and high voltage indefinitely, without draining
battery power. A built-in microprocessor continuously monitors incoming voltage
levels. When low or high voltage is detected, the SmartPro 450 RT adjusts it to
ensure your equipment receives only regulated, consistent 120V power. This feature
eliminates long term degradation or “electronic rust” that can occur in
equipment operated in unstable power environments over time.
