The Trace SW Series inverters provide sine wave output with
high efficiency, high surge and low idle current. With three microprocessors and
bi-directional power topology, it has features and capabilities that were previously
either nonexistent or available only as separate products.
The SW is over 90% efficient through most of its load range,
peaking at 96% efficiency, with negligible idle current. Smart features make it more
reliable. The new "soft start" system allows the inverter to run heavier
loads with improved reliability. Intelligence eliminates guesswork.
Trace SW inverters can be programmed to perform a multitude of
tasks like automatic generator start and stop, automatic load sensing and generator
support, and includes protective circuitry which guards against downtime. Indicators
show overcurrent, overtemperature, short circuit, low battery and high battery conditions.
When connected to a renewable energy system, the SW can feed excess
energy back to the utility grid. Advanced protective features sense when
utility power is lost and prevent dangerous backfeed into the grid. A charger keeps
your batteries happy.
All Trace SW inverters include a built-in, fully automatic,
three-state battery charger, designed for maximum charging while using minimum generator
time and fuel.
Models are available from 2,500 watts to 16,000 watts.
Stacking offers power to spare. Stack the SW in series for
120/240 VAC output and increased total capacity. With a surge rating 2.5 times
greater than their continuous power rating, there is almost nothing that will not start
and run on one (or two) of these inverters.
Trace SW inverters consume 1 to 2 watts in their standby mode and
12 to 20 watts when on with no load. They are extremely efficient powering loads
from 100 watts to full power.
They have a two year warranty and are ETL listed to UL standards.
