When you require a complete basic automatic transfer
transfer switch for handling only some of your branch circuits, we have the solution. The DynaGen Vigilant series
load center ATS includes a built-in sub-panel for up to 12 or 24 branch
circuits. It is designed to UL
1008 and has all the necessary delay timers, voltage sensing, frequency
sensing, and generator programmable
exerciser clock. Made in Canada.
Description
The Vigilant 100A Load Center Automatic Transfer Switch will save you
time and money on every installation. It completely eliminates the need
to install a separate sub-panel and gives you the option of installing 12
regular or 24 mini Square D circuit breakers (optionally supplied). And
no need to pull the power company meter for this type of ATS. Light
weight and easy to install, the Vigilant Load Center fits snugly between two
studs and has plenty of conveniently placed knockouts. It is so easy to
install that it can cut up to 3 hours off your installation time when compared
to installation of a regular transfer switch and separate sub-panel.

NOTES:
1) The start time delay prevents nuisance generator starts during momentary utility
power variations; transfer time delay allows generator set to stabilize before load is
applied; retransfer delay prevents needless power interruption if return of utility power
is momentary; stop delay allows gradual generator set cool down; undervoltage sensing of
utility supply provides reliable starting of generator set during brownout conditions.
2) This switch is not service entrance rated. This generally means that you
need a service entrance rated disconnect between this switch and your utility meter.
