Welding Cable

Heavy duty welding cable resistant to flame, oil, abrasion, tar and grease. Rated 200 amps maximum, -40C to +90C (-40F to +194F), 600 Volts, #2 AWG copper, 625 stranding minimum for strength and flexibility, insulated with black Neoprene jacket, 0.065" average wall thickness, outside diameter 0.440 inches minimum.  Conforms to ICEA and NEMA requirements for welding cable.  Sold by the foot.

The approximate ampacity when used with Anderson 65C modular connectors is 151 amps.  This assumes single insulated conductors in free air at ambient air temperature of 30C (86F).  Maximum conductor temperature 65C.  Approximate values derived from NEC Table 310.17.

NOTE:  When using with PTO generators, you must purchase three or four times the length needed since this is single conductor cable (i.e. one conductor for each hot lead, one for the neutral, and one for the ground if not using a bare conductor).
