16-circuit Automatic Transfer Switch
120/240VAC, 125 amp

The PowerStay™ Automatic Power Transfer System, used in conjunction with a standby generator, provides a convenient and robust way to maintain power in a home or business during a power outage. The PowerStay™ system senses when utility power shuts off, triggers a permanently installed generator to start, and transfers selected circuits to generator power according to priority assigned at installation. This system is designed for use with gas-powered, automatic choke engines with electric/remote start kits as well as propane, natural gas and diesel-powered generators up to 30 kilowatts.  This system allows you to use a much smaller generator to power the same complement of electrical loads which can result in significant cost savings on the generator.  Because this system intelligently monitors all circuits and manages the total generator load generally you can size the generator for the single largest load plus 25%.

Smart Features:
* SAFE – Prevents generator backfeed into utility power. UL 1008 Listed.
* Automatic Switching between utility and generator power – When the system
   senses partial or total loss of electricity for 30+ seconds, it automatically starts
   the generator (equipped with appropriate remote-starting capabilities), and
   transfers the circuits to generator power according to priority assigned upon
   installation.
* Integrated Subpanel – No additional subpanel is required, saving time and money.
   NEMA 1-rated cabinet is suitable for flush OR surface mounting indoors. All wires
   are clearly marked, and ALL components are included in package. Circuit
   breakers can be upgraded.
* Reduced Total Investment – Because of our unique design features, you can run
   most circuits in your home with a moderately sized genset (about 25% less output)
   reducing your total backup power investment.
* Smart Startup/Shutdown – Limits rapid intermittent start-up and shutdown,
   prolonging generator life.
* Waits up to 30 seconds after sustained power loss to start up generator
* Waits up to 30 seconds to begin transferring circuits
* Once utility power is restored, waits one minute to re-transfer circuits back to
   utility
* Five minutes after re-transfer, completes generator cool down and shutdown.
* Active, Multi-channel Intelligent Load Management – In generator mode, the
   system manages up to 16 individual circuits or loads based on parameters set
   up at installation. As demand increases on higher-priority circuits, the system
   turns off less important circuits. This allows a larger number of loads – some
   intermittent – to be supported without nuisance tripping or investing in a
   larger generator.  Response time to load changes is set at 2 seconds.
* Built-in Battery Charger – An integrated Float charger charges your generator
   battery between uses, and won’t boil your battery acid which prolongs battery
   life.
* Programmable Generator Exerciser –Tests generator on regular interval
   (programmable from 1-28 days) to maintain a healthy generator.
* Generator Usage Monitor – Tracks run time to help gauge fuel consumption
   (for gasoline and diesel powered gensets).
* Programmable Alarm System – Can be programmed at installation to sound an
   alarm in case of expected low fuel levels.
* Flexible – Accommodates inductive and resistive loads. For gas, propane, LP gas
   and diesel generators from 3500 watts (14 amp) to 30 kilowatts (125 amp).
   Designed for any single phase 125/250 volt electrical application.
