Diversion Load
for Binary Load Controllers
230Vac, 5 Banks of Resistors
This is the diversion load assembly used with our NPAT series micro hydroelectric turbines. It is specially designed for binary load controllers that require incrementally sized resistor banks. Resistors are mounted in an indoor ventilated enclosure and pre-wired for easy connection to controller. Enclosure is designed for wall mounting and is supplied with wall brackets.
This diversion load can be purchased here separately if you are putting together your own micro hydroelectric system. May be used with our NPAT-BCB Binary Load Controller board.

NOTES:
1. All resistors are 5% tolerance and have a power rating for greater than 240V continuous operation.
2. Each cabinet has 6 resistor spaces.
3. Pigtail for connection to controller is 4' long.
CAUTION: When selecting the proper diversion load rating do not oversize wattage. Oversizing will result in poor regulation (poor resolution) due to large step size compared with generator rating.
