House UPS System
2400VA/2250 watt, 120VAC
Our House UPS systems fill a market niche between portable generators and automatic standby generators. Most power outages last less than a couple hours and these systems easily provide backup AC power for that length of time. These systems are silent and fully automatic and transfer extremely fast when line power is lost. No more guessing how long an outage will last and whether it is worth the trouble to drag out that portable generator. For most outages which are short this system eliminates that trouble!

What is included in the NoOutage.com House UPS System?
We provide everything you need to install an operational system except for one circuit breaker that must be installed in your load center breaker panel and a connected wall outlet. If you want to be able to provide backup power for a long-term power outage you will also need a portable generator (not included). Make sure the generator has a high capacity 120V 30A NEMA L5-30R receptacle. System includes the following:
| * UPS Module * Transfer Switch - 4 circuit * battery charger (in UPS) |
* AC Input Cord - 25' with NEMA L5-30P
Plug * AC Output Cord with NEMA L5-30C Connector * interconnecting battery jumper cables * gel cell maint-free lead acid batteries (in UPS) |
We do not provide the circuit breaker for your load center panel due to the many brands of panels. Purchase one locally that fits your panel. It should be rated 30 amps. Your installer will also need to wire this breaker to a 30A 120VAC NEMA L5-30R wall receptacle near the UPS.

| NOTES: 1 - Oversized generators with automatic voltage regulators work best. 2 - This system will start most home refrigerator and freezer compressor motors. 3 - Under normal conditions batteries should last at least 3-5 years. Replacement batteries are available and can be installed by user. 4 - Battery run-time is not linear. At half the stated electrical load the run-time will be MORE than double the original value. |
