Thermal Cutout Kit
works with most portable generators
(only for air cooled engines that have low oil shutdown)

Thermal Cutout Kit - for use with air cooled engines to detect cooling fan failure and perform automatic engine shutdown on high air temperature. Includes auto reset temperature cutout, slip on terminals, (2) 72" wires, wire ties, installation instructions.  Operates by connecting to normally open low oil shutdown contact on engine.  Contact rating 8.7A at 240Vac max. Contact is normally open and closes on rising temperature at 140F +/-7F.  Automatically resets when temperature drops by 30F allowing engine to be restarted.  This is same cutout as used in our PowerShelter Kit II and the original discontinued PowerShelter Kit.
