NOTES:
1 - Oversized generators with automatic voltage regulators work
best. UPS test did work with small 5000 watt generator with no
voltage regulator after raising UPS voltage to 240V and pre-loading
generator with 1500 watts.
2 - Tested using typical 3/4hp 230Vac single phase well pump motor with
UPS internal batteries fully charged and at approx 70F (no optional
external battery modules).
3 - Under normal conditions batteries should last at least 3-5
years. Replacement batteries are available and can be installed by
user.
4 - Battery run-time is not linear. At half the stated electrical
load the run-time will be MORE than double the original value. |
